My priorities as a trustee are focused on three core principles that will guide my work on the school board: commitment, connection, and experience.

Committed: Promote Quality Education

I am deeply committed to ensuring every child in Kuna receives a quality education. My plan is to support our teachers with the resources they need; advocate for appropriate class sizes, and updated curriculum that prepares students for life-long success; and make decisions that put the needs of students first. My passion is for our kids, and my commitment is to their future.

Connected: Long-Term Community Involvement

My family and I have been part of the Kuna community for many years. My long-term involvement gives me a unique understanding of our community's values and challenges. I will use this connection to be a voice for parents, community members, students, and educators on the board, ensuring our policies reflect the needs and aspirations of our community. I believe that a strong school district is built on a strong partnership with the community it serves.

Experienced: Finance, Human Resources, and Board Roles

My 30+ years of professional experience in finance, human resources, and various board roles have equipped me with the skills necessary to serve as an effective trustee. I will use my financial background to ensure our district's budget is managed responsibly and transparently. My human resources experience will help me support and retain our talented staff. Finally, my experience in board governance will allow me to contribute to a collaborative and effective board that makes sound, strategic decisions for the future of our students.
